The hotel was conveniently located near downtown Ventura, the beach, and shopping centers, making it a great spot for exploring. However, the room had some maintenance issues, and the overall ambience was not the best due to the underground feel and distant vending machines.

However, the service was top-notch, especially from Stephan who went above and beyond. The location was close to the beach and pier, making it ideal for creating lasting memories. The dining experience had some highlights with a beautiful setting but lacked variety. Overall, a stay with ups and downs.

The hotel was like a cozy Italian cottage, shielded from the noisy motorway nearby. The rooms, though unique, showed signs of wear and were in need of a refreshment. Unfortunately, we found ourselves in a handicap room that was not up to standard.

Though the A/C had not been functional for a week, the staff did not inform us until the day of check-in. They fell short in providing alternatives for food and water, but were friendly with ready smiles, unlike the receptionists at the Yosemite View Lodge.
